Hi
Could someone give me a stright answer to this question i bought my car a year ago under a GT but my mate who works for Toyota says its not got the GT engine in it. I said to my mate it says 2.0L but he says its a carollo engine. Is he taking the p*ss. The info write in the chassis is: ST202 3S-FE 2.0 16V In the book it says GT 2.0 is 173bhp. -------------------- |

take a pic of the engine bay and post it here if you want an exact anser, but it soulds like its just a 3sfe, which I think is basicly the head off a 3sge on the block of a 5sfe. and 173bhp is about right for that.
Carollo, as in a John Carollo engine? This post has been edited by creis: Dec 3, 2005 - 8:06 AM -------------------- ![]() |

QUOTE(creis @ Dec 3, 2005 - 5:59 AM) take a pic of the engine bay and post it here if you want an exact anser, but it soulds like its just a 3sfe, which I think is basicly the head off a 3sge on the block of a 5sfe. and 173bhp is about right for that. Carollo, as in a John Carollo engine? not even close to 173bhp. it produces less than the 5sfe. |
