I need to know what the highest possible UNLEADED PUMP GAS. I heard a gas station here sells 110 unleaded octane gas. Is there any higher ones out there? Remember, it has to be unleaded and from a gas station.

Not true...higher octane gas will make your car run better, it increases fuel economy and increases HP, it help stops pre detonation (knock) in hot engines, burns cleaner and produces less polution, I always run the highest octane I can find....usually 98Ron If I could find 110 Ron in the UK I`d use it. 100Ron is the highest we get here. well i was talking about the orignal poster not needing anything higher then 87 octain in his st. turbo charged engines are different and benefit from higher octain, so i totally agree with you there. -------------------- 15PSI - 30MPG - Megasquirt Tuned

Oh sorry.....wrong end of the stick again!!!!!....yes an ST would be pointless running anything that high , it would benifit a little with lower emissions, but thats about it. |
