Bruce Lee has no style... no form... no specific "way" of fighting (he was a former pupil of Wing Chun, but he out-grew that)... Bruce Lee actually regreted the terming of "Jeet Kune Do" and the direction those "CONCEPTS" were taken by other martial artists. Jeet Kune Do was meant as a philosophical look on martial arts, instead of a "style". Bruce Lee's concepts and/or philosophy on martial arts is called Jun Fan gung fu. Chuck Norris was one of his students and was quoted by Washinton newspapers as "being handled like a parent would a small child" by Bruce Lee. This is not refrence to only Chuck Norris, but Mike Stone, amougst other famous American Karate Champions of the time. There's no competition or even a close approximate comparison. Bruce Lee has ALL of the tools as far as conceptual martial arts go... and Chuck Norris can't even come close to that.
As for Bruce Lee kicking... Bruce Lee ALWAYS kicked. The mis-conception that Bruce Lee didn't kick till later in his martial arts study is based on Wing Chun forms. Wing Chun limits kicking to below the waist and to thrusting and isn't considered a major attack... but Bruce Lee pretty much stopped studying Wing Chun by the time he came to America and started focusing on Martial arts as a whole instead of style by style. He took whatever worked for him and formulated it into his arsenal. -------------------- "It's ok to be naked girl... I'm an artist!"
