I was on my way back to the car with a handful of groceries and this middle aged man in a long station-wagon was trying to fit his car in a narrow parking space. Next, I hear his front bumper grinding against the parked car beside it. The man left a few 8-inch scratches on the side of the parked car. I totally saw it and maybe a couple others, so I take note of the wagon's license plate number and return to my car all the way at the end of the lot to drop off the groceries. I wrote on the back of an old receipt the guy's license plate information and left the note on the parked car's wiper blade.
To be honest, as meticulous as I am against getting dents/scratches/or damages which is why i park at the end away from other cars, I hate to see people do it to others and try to get away with it mad.gif unfortunately for him, i happened to be around to witness it. i swear, there was almost no way for such a long and wide car to fit in one try.. either he's just dumb enough to try or truly has no respect for other cars. so just let that be a warning (people in general, not 6gcers specifically), being able to get away from hit and run's doesn't always happen. and to avoid dings, park away from the crowd. our 6gc's don't come with sidebeams so dents can occur quite easily..
alright, i'm done with my venting...

Americans, well people in general, are selfish. I think it's more American's though. It's the whole idea of this country. Take everything you can get. That's why our economy isn't that great.

Actually I would disagree, if you look at our countries huge as* debt and the citizens themself. U would find that were doing a whole lot better than any other countries cause:
1.) We suck the resources out of other countries and save ours instead so that in times of war we have home resources to use right away!
2.) We take money from other countries in the form of securities so that if our economy crash they get screwed! So in order not to get screwed they have to support us in times of war and wat not.
3.) We love money, cause it buys everything........even countries that we hate.....(Israel..cough..cough).
4.) The politicans are greedy and in terms, the politicans are pretty much citizens like most of us.
Politicians=Citizens=Americans=Money.......
I think U guys get the point

anyways back to the subject.....Um yeah that old man should pay and do time!

I understand what you’re saying. But what about people like you and me now? I'm not completely sure your economic situation, so I'm going to assume your not loaded. We are the first generation of American's expected to make less money than your parents. Sure, the economy may look okay because of the reasons you're saying. But it's the guy at the bottom that's getting screwed here. The gap between the rich and poor is growing. I'm middle class, so are most people. But the poor population is growing, and the middle class is shrinking. It's hard to find jobs, and the ones that are out there aren't paying what they use to. This is from greedy rich American's trying to suck up all the money they can. They aren't the only ones who are like that. Most of the rest of the country is just trying to "get theirs" too (my opinion).

I just had a confrontation with a fellow member about prices on something he was trying to sell. With shipping, he would have came close to making me pay more for something than he had paid himself. So I don't think this greed is limited to the outside world.

I could be extra sensitive and irritated due to it being dead week here at WVU. Lot of stress right now.
