3sgte, 5sfte, 7afte ... n00b question, what do these mean?? Options

the 3 u posted are turbocharged engines.

The 5sfte and 7afte are the stock 5sfe (american GT model) and 7afte (american ST model) with a 3sgte exaust head and turbo (im not sure about the headers part...) The "t" is the turbo.

The 3sgte is the motor that is in the Japanese GT-4, which put down about 250hp to the wheels (if im not mistake, probally am tho) This motor is also turbocharged. (hense the "t")

The "t" is the turbo.- and no, it just means they are turbo. if you were using the head off the 3sgte you would have a 5sgte, or a 5sge. the "g" stands for the head type as wannabe said.

5afte and 7afte are not actual models of the engine. It's basically something we make up, becuase no GT or ST comes turbo, we add the T.
