After thinking for a while now I am dissatisfied with the celi with the 4age engine. There are just so many cars out there that can perform so much better and go so much faster. Maybe its just me and maybe its just my crappy tuning that sucked cause my car won't go any faster, but after a while. I'm begining to think that I should have never got into the Modding scene in the first place. There is no prize and there is no trophy for beating your rivals on the streets and there is no Reputation to keep when your ride gets totaled.
So basically, for those of you starting out your Modding career in the car world, keep this in mind. A stock car came in like crap to begin with, when you start out adjusting every feature in the stock car to make it look different and perform different from the rest. Your just pooring more and more cash into a car that would probbaly turn out to be different at the end and end up as something that could never quench your thirst. If you want a fast car, get one to begin with and then start modding from there. In the end, the time you waste and the efforts and money you put in will pay off. If you start with a slow car, nothing will change unless you have deep pockets. The Celica 6Gen is just not worth it to Modd nor any other cars that came in N/A with a Slow A** engine. |

Im not a mechanic 2.) Im not that rich 3.) I have an ST not a GT 4.) I don't know how to wield 5.) I don't have the tools 6.) I wanted to do it myself 7.) I thought It would be easy..... 8.) .......you get the picture 1. neither am i, or any of the other guys on this site 2. ok 3. what difference does that make? you can still swap in any engine into it 4. you mean weld? i dont know any swap that requires welding. 5. a basic craftsman toolset and an engine lift is all you need. how did you get your 4age swap done then? 6.7.8. i dont really understand what you mean by that? all i was trying to say is that if you wanted a fast celica with lots of potential, then why did you choose an NA motor that is only 40hp more then your 7a? you could have put in a 3s that bone stock would give you 100hp more, with the potential to make even more power later on, just with a simple turbo upgrade. its not the celicas fault your not happy with the power of your swaped motor -------------------- 15PSI - 30MPG - Megasquirt Tuned
