I know there are a lot of us greddy sp exhaust owners on this board and I was wondering what measures ya'll have taken to weatherproof it. I plan to strip the coarse covering material around the actual muffler in the coming days but I don't want the whole thing to rust out. What should I use to prevent this from happening?

Also since we all have problems with the tip getting all cruddy, has anyone found a solution to this problem as well?

TIA

thanks for the replies all.

I think I'm gonna paint it with some type of high temp paint. is there like a high temp clearcoat that I can spray the whole muffler with and retain the shiniess that we all know and love? wink.gif
