I'm installing a keyless entry system in my Celica and it has an option for a power trunk release for my hatch. I know if you put in a power trunk solenoid, you need a dash switch to active it which renders the cable-pull on the floor useless.
My question is this: Can I install the power trunk solenoid so I can pop the hatch remotely but still use the cable-pull on the floor and skip the dash switch? I just like the cable-pull. -------------------- |

Put a 15 amp in and everything works fine now. |

I remember when I first installed it in my Celica, I would pop that hatch like 10 times a day -------------------- |

I'd still like to run a dufferent power source back there so I can put the 10 amp fuse back in. |
