I'm just wondering did all ss2's and ss3's from 1997 have white dials are they better equipped than the 1996 models with the 180 hp engine I hear the 1997 ones have the beams engines. And what year did the projector lights come out. I really like celicas alot but I used to be a really big mitsi fan and i'm not anymore so any info about 1997 celica ss2's and ss3's would be great. You can find also SSII with beams engine...SSIII came with many dealer options as standard and also with Superstrut as standard.Beams VVTI came out after the facelift of 97/12
