Help me find the problem Options

I had to put my 94 Celica in the garage more then a year ago. The clutch burned out and the CV boots were bad. Since then Ive been buying tools and reading for the last year about engine swaps. Well I was out last weekend doing some prep work to get the old engine ready to be pulled. I noticed on the old engine that there was oil coming out of the valve cover. I got some pictures. I just want to know if anyone here could tell me what the problem is and how I can prevent this from happing on my new engine.



This first picture shows oil all over down by the Oil filter.



The second picture shows the valve cover the oil isn't coming out that bad from here.



The last picture shows the right side of the valve cover and you can see the layer of oil.

ur dizzy seal seems to have gone bad too.
Check to make sure that the oil filter is not leaking oil as well, u might need a new seal for the oil filter fittings inside of the engine.
