So yea after looking at different sub/amp I just bought a JBL bp1200.1 AMP and 12" JLW6V2 in a 1.5sq.ft ported box. At first I though that its just gonna sound like a normal sub but the sound is just amazing. I guess thats because W6 an SQ sub. It hits pretty damn hard, all the plastic in the trunk and the rear seat shakes and rattles like crazy. And I have to tune it down to -3 db boost for normal listening, this kinda tells that the amp is just a monster.

i was just about to buy that head unit... how do you like it

Its pretty good, looks really cool. But only if u get mechanical bdgain knob because it t takes pretty loong to through all the settings. But hey I got it for 120$ so I am all good with it.
ADDED: If you are planning on using this deck for some crazy SPL you will have to get a pre-out voltage booster because even though panasonic says that this deck has 5V pre-out it only goes up to 2.3V which is pretty weak for SPL world. With voltage booster which will cost around 80$ you can easily boost the voltage to 8Volts which is all you need. The sound quality of this thing is pretty damn good, before this deck I had a stock/clarison/alpine and this deck is probably in the 1st place but only if you get it tuned by someone who does it for living. Other than that this is an amazing deck, the blue screen that plays videos really attracts chicks to your car and the auto tilt option makes everyone go "wow" when you start your car. If you buying this thing as of now I would not pay more that 200$ for it, I'd rather spend a lil more and buy some alpine deck.

Are you sure that's not a BP600.1? The BP1200.1 is longer I believe. Regardless though, nice equipment. What are you running as far as the front stage goes?
Its 100% BP1200.1, I checked it and all + I bought off of my friend so he wont lie to me.
