QUOTE(playr158 @ Dec 17, 2005 - 6:05 PM) hrrrrmmmm it sounds like you got a 94-95 OBDI manifold instead of the OBD2 manifold....(they came with the o2 sensor in the mani as opposed to the 96-99).... the geo metro and such all share the 7afe motor with the celica so don't worry about that first, there were no 98-99 ST Celicas, only until 97 The 94-95 manifold is VERY different than the 96-97 (because of newer emission regulations, like Dan said OBDI and II) very easy way to tell is with the 94-95 manifold has a GIANT cat that bolts directly to it, then the exhaust pipe. Now the 96-97 has NO GIANT cat, just a pipe going strait down from the mani. does you mani have a big mouth opening at the end, or just a small one for the exhaust pipe ? I think you've got one for a 7afe for a metro or a prism. You need to specify for a Celica. either way, just PM defgeph, he has a 97 ST manifold for sale. It is exactly what you need and it was only used for about a year I believe (he bought this one new from Toyota) -------------------- |
