Hey everybody, i'm new to this forum but am glad to be here. I have an ae102 that i'm now starting to modify, it's an auto though, but i still like it. Anyway, i decided to join up here since you're all quite technically inclined and know what you're talking about.
Anyways, I'll be throwing on some ITB's from a Yamaha R6 on the 7afe these next few months. I know that it seems weird but my goal isn't a high revving 7a, but a nice torqy engine with response. The tb's are 38mm(small, i know) but long stacks and a large plenum should increase intake velocity quite a bit. Plus ITB's just sound great too. I'll be putting up pics of everything i do, so anyone who wants to replicate this is might find it easier. Also, since i am in college, this is a true grassroots project. Which means it's cheap, and unfortunatly slow... progress-wise. I believe i read that some other members have done this mod here, but i can't remember off the top of my head. Any input or comments are welcome. |

yeah, i'm not that guy. But i would like to read his thread, just to see if there's any relevant info on it... well... unless you guys advise against it. If a mod has strong sentiments about it, then i'm a bit hesitant. I used to be *the* mod over at MitsubishiForums.com My name was SpyderGS. But lost my spyder and gained 2 corollas (one was free!).
Anyways, i suppose it would be best to post this stuff in the Engine section. I guess i'll start a new thread there and update it every time i progress. |
