This is a weird question but i had a bad alternator when i bought it so i got it replaced and its draining the battery im thinking it has something to do with it not being a toyota alternator has this happend to anyone else?

Also would any toyota alternator fit my car because i am about to go get one from a junkyard?

i had this problem before.. but it wasn't the alt. it was the cables where lose.. so the alt wasn't recharing the batt. at full power ... check the the wires the clip on to the alt... also check that you don't have any oxidation(sp) on your batt. cables...
