So where is YOUR'S located?

The idiot who installed this thing just stuck in under the dash. So the thing NEVER goes off unless you like SLAM the hood shut while it's armed. I was thinking of mounting it next to the speaker in the rear driver side panel. What do you guys think? Any other ideas?

I have no clue, my alarm was already w/ my car when I got it.....I wish I had more info on it! It wont go off too easily. A lady's shopping cart rolled off the curb & hit my car once which DID activate the alarm (damn her & her cart)....other wise it wont go off. If you bump into it just right or lift the door handle & let go then the alarm will chirp at you but not go off...hmm I really need to find out what alarm I have so I can get more info on it!

My car came with the alarm too. I went up into the dash and found the brain along with the sensor, which was orignally attached to the steering column but had since broken off. So I cranked up the sensitivity and I relocated the sensor to a spot that I thought might feel more vibrations if someone tried to get into the car. If you look at the pic you can see where installed it. The sensor is the red rectangle and the white box is part of the chassis. Now my alarm seems to be wicked sensitive, which is what I was shooting for.
