So before I put the car on the market I want to finish the black conversion from that nasty blueish color. I have the seats left to do. I know there's like a black spray-dye stuff at auto-zone, how well does that work for just a basic application like this? I would spray the seats and the cloth section in the doors with it.
And yeah I searched, found a couple basic posts but not a lot of useful information -------------------- 1999 Celica GT

It works really good beacause its not paint is a dye....so anything you go over will change its color completely. Another thing thats good about this is that its almost impossible to miss up with runs, or sags, because even if you spray in one area for a long time it all absorbs, and will look pretty good when your finished.
Valo is right though, on some fabrics,(not all) it will feel finda rough, but it will go away with time, and you can also use it on pretty much any fabric, or soft plastic, carpet too. ![]() |
