Ok heres the deal, the topic has come up again and the progress on our dragon emblems has come to a point where we need to make the decision. Basically we cannot find a company who will chrome plate plastics. there are 2 other routes we are thinking about, but are open to any other ideas. It goes like this:
A) we can get them chrome plated still... however, the emblems would need to be made of brass for the plating to adhere and not melt the piece. PRO: we still have them chrome plated CON: its going to bump the price to approximatly 45 bucks an emblem  B) we can continue with using the hi-temp plastic as planned, but they will need to be spray painted, either by me, or by you, your choice. PRO: Keeps cost low and still good quality product CON: the emblem is spray painted, and like the painted taillights and engine pieces, MAY need to be repainted once and a while. all would be easy to make, my grandpa is coming down today, so ill talk to him about it more. i'll try to push making molds for doing both DIY plastic AND brass, so you will have a final choice.
