I got a custom short-ram intake put into my celi (SE) about three months ago. ever since then, it has been like the car has a hard time taking air in when i turn the car on. it will start but the intake will not start sucking air in right away therefore the rpm's start out very low (about 200) untill i rev it up a little. sometimes revving up the engine will get the intake to breathe, but lately not even that is helping.
I'm thinking that it is an oxygen sensor issue, or maybe a computer issue. but the weird thing is that it didn't start messing up untill after i got the intake (i'm using the original sesnsor and the the original comp settings). does anybody have any ideas as to what might be the problem? and maybe some troubleshooting ideas? -------------------- ![]() this is what happens when your little brother is better at photoshop than you are |

well yeah, i need to clean the filter, but it's been doing that for a while, even when the filter was clean. and whats the IAS? (sorry...newbie) if that's the oxygen sensor...yeah, it's in the piping. would an old sensor cause these kinds of problems?
