I have a question about the Ipod video that is no one will probably be able to answer "there is a way" to. I like to watch music videos and concerts on it but i want to know if there is a way to shut the screen off sometimes. You know, to conserve battery time and also because i Just want to lay down an listen to the music and disregard the video. Also, If anyone is having trouble putting video on theirs, I could probably help...

QUOTE(lagos @ Dec 29, 2005 - 1:42 AM) so you want a video concert to only play as audio, right? there is a bug, where video podcasts (free video tv shows on itunes) show up in your music menu and when u select them, from there, they only play back audio....so i guess u could do it that way . to put any of your own vids on it. there is an app that i found thats really good for converting just about any format onto the mp4 format that the ipod understands. so converting divx files or car vids you have shouldnt be a problem. You found? ![]() QUOTE(defgeph @ Dec 29, 2005 - 1:44 AM) It has an option to turn tv off in the menu I dont know about this I have only seen backlight and that stays on during a video. I think the best bet is to use that bug to your advantage. Maybe its not even a bug... Also, I'm pretty disappointed in the battery life. I watch 1 Family Guy episode and I'm just about 1/2 way down on the battery, I dont know how this thing would last 2 hrs.
