Well I was hoping to bring my Celica to Ohio so that my Uncle could build me a custom sub box and help reorganize my air suspension... but an hour on our trip... The engine just cut off... So i pulled it over and looked under the hood... Had some antifreeze coming out of the overflow tank and the engine was hot.. However the needle read normal temp... So once the engine cooled... we checked the radiator and it was pretty much full :-( So then we started it up and heard a knocking from under the valve cover... Checked the oil... that was fine... So i had to tow it back to NC to a shop... Haven't heard what's wrong with it yet...

Sad Sad Week for me :-(

Sorry to hear all that. I just got my second timing belt change yesterday at 112K (kind of early, but my Toyota dealer was also "fixing" an oil leak and replaced several front engine seals and the drive belts), and claimed that the timing belt needed done too b/c the oil leak had created such a mess (or something). I am a little suspect. As far as the water pump goes, the replacement is not on their routine maintenance pamphlet, so I am wondering why, now that you mention it? When have people here replaced their water pumps?
