the speakers in the doors are 6.5" circular speakers, right? so if you you buy 6.5" aftermarket speakers, they should fit right? well, mine don't! toyota made their 6.5" speakers extended on the sides so that they could bolt onto the support thing that holds the speaker in place. this is a real pain in the @$$ for me because i took my whole door panel off to find out that i was not going to be able to put in my new speakers.
knowing that all our cars are pretty much the same, and that many of you have after market speakers in your doors...how did you get yours to fit? i'm desperate! -------------------- this is what happens when your little brother is better at photoshop than you are |

i wouldnt buy adapters, just make them like playr said and save some money. i know how you feel though, when i was installing mine and found out they didnt fit i was like WTF. it sucks but its not really a problem. at least the back pair fit fine.
-------------------- I think Bigfoot is blurry, that's the problem. It's not the photographer's fault. Bigfoot is blurry. And that's extra scary to me, because there's a large, out-of-focus monster roaming the countryside. |
