How is he stealing it? Do you know how? If your using wireless, you can encrypt your signal so that he'd need a password to access it.

Because I'm hard wired through the phone line with filters and such. My modem has an antenna and a led marked wireless that flashes so I said maybe I do and my connection seemed slower than ever. How can I encrypt the signal? I'm using a Westell Versa link model 327W? Any info would be helpful. Thanks -------------------- JDM guy made me do it.

Thanks Ok, quick googling shows that indeed this is an all-in-one model: http://forum.linspire.com/viewtopic.php?t=...2b3d2cf81608b89 http://forums.techguy.org/networking/35274...tomatic+updates Now, I think maybe if you navigate to http://192.168.1.1/ , you should be able to get to and change this. Check the manual that came with your Router/Modem, about particulars and default settings. You probably can even google it. http://onlinehelp.verizon.net/consumer/bin...kStartGuide.pdf don't know if that helps. -------------------- |
