While changing the clutch what else could be done... |

Since my first stickshift Celica. This is my first time ever changing the clutch on it. I got a Chifton book hoping it help me. It kinda did but not really. It was such a pain trying to take out the tranny. Its not even down yet! So far i got all the damn bolts out on the crossmember with my bare hands, i even had to use my two legs pushing the ranch to even budge it! lol i look like a weaka$$ bit$h holding onto another car pushing it. my neighbor saw what i was doing with his car he laughed and said its okay. lmao. My next step is taking out the driveshaft. My dad is gonna lend me his 30mm socket or watever fits to take it out. anywho i was wondering while the tranny is out is there anything else i can do while its out? i dont wana EVER EVER EVER do it again. It was horrible my day off and its not even change. This is at my apt. standing on jacks. ghettoness... so give me some advice or what else is there to do while its gonna b down soon. THANKS (ill charge everything to my card to get it over with as long as i dont ever have do it again )

yea i would replace the bolt on the flywheel, cuz my 240sx bolts broke in half into the crankshaft and i try every way to get them out and finally did got it out. i replace only that one bolt and then last week the flywheel bolts flew off when i down shift to avoid an accident. i had to park on the side intill i can get it toll, by the time i got it towed it was broken into, taking my subs, amp, and my battery...how unfortunate. Today i finally got my tranny off my silver celica, im so happy. but my slave cylinder penis lookin thingy broke off, so now i have to fix that. but im definitely changing my flywheel to a lightweight and changing the bolts on it too. YAY finally got the tranny down. damn toyota wished they made it more simple like my 240 but thats rear wheel drive.
