i must be dumb cause i cant get the damn driverside axle out of the tranny , its a 5 speed , got the other one out but for some reason the othr side wont budge

Man, all those hints are wrong!!
Your gonna ruin your tranny seal if you stick a screwdriver in there and pry it out. Heres wat u do! 1.) Get under it with: Rubber hammer, and a small pry bar 2.) Using the Pry bar position it so that you can knock out the axel outwards. There are these groove on the axel itself where it goes into the tranny. They look like groves that stick out on the metal part that goes into tranny. Thats where you will be positioning your pry bar. 3.) Gently Tap the end of the pry bar and then rotate the axel. And position it again on the groves. Keep doing it untill it pops out! Takes me less than 5 mins to do it. Make sure you got enough room to get under the body and enough room to swing the hammer.
