Is going to dominate. optional 268hp V6 with a six speed transmission. That'll be at the top of its class. To put that in perspective, it's the same engine in the new avalon, only the camry is going to have one more gear and a couple hundred pounds less weight. The avalon can almost make it from 0-60 in six seconds.... so I'm expecting the new camry will break into the fives and run the quarter in mid to low 14's.... the world is going crazy. I remember when mustangs and camaros were hitting 14's and that was good. Nissan has just been trumped.

that only puts it 3 hp ahead of the Nissan Maxima. I've driven those, and yes it's fun but it's still a big sedan trying to put way too much power to the front wheels. I hope that those car makers decide to use some LSD in their transmissions because the Maxima torque steered like a b*tch.
And with that v6 the MR2 guys will have some new swaps to plan out haha -------------------- 1999 Celica GT
