Yo Guy's......

this is scary, how often have some of you changed you CV axels ???

i've got to change mine and it's gonna cost me best part of $500 just for the parts
plus maybe waiting 6 weeks (worst case) to get them from Japan frown.gif (remember i'm in Russia)

what the life expectency on the CV axel cause i'm thinking i should order the other side at the same time if they go regular ??????

it all depends on how you drive. ive seen some last as long as 100,000+ miles while others go sooner. mine went early because they kind of got tossed around during my engine swap. since i put new ones in, i didnt have any more issues.

here in america, we have a lot of companise that take in your old axels and rebuild them for about 75$ with lifetime replacement warrenty. i know that if i was to go to the local toyota dealer here, it would be around 250$ per side for brand new ones.
