Ok so I havent told anyone but im running a standalone EMS, no more AFM, no more factory restrictions. Part of the restrictions i was seeing would be the TVIS. I dont want it there anymore, can i just remove the fins? is there a walkthrough for people that have done this? Also Im finding hoses that need to be replaced. (PS lines, Fuel pressure between rail and filter). and im replacing all vacum lines anyways. also Im going to use an air/air IC as a temp fix to just get the car up and operating. But my problem is that the neck to the IC is smaller than the opening in my TB (I had 1/4 the parts for a a-w IC) I sold the a-w since my plan is to go FMIC later on. My question is what should I do about the a-a gap for now? just a smaller silicone coupling inside the bigger opening was my idea and a good strong clamp. Then lastly the wastegate, I found the electrical solenoid under the intake manifold and traced it back to the wastegate actuator I no longer have the stock ECU so its like the solenoid isnt there and I would like to bypass it I just want to make sure the wastegate will still function with no problems.

summary:

1. TVIS Removal and/or disable
2. a-a IC gap at TB
3. anyone with the extra fuel line?
4. Internal wastegate with just vacum line, functional?

Also please dont ask what EMS im running or anything else unless related to the questions. I am trying to keep things secreative for now. All in due time things will be released.

Thanks for the help.

actually, the TVIS actually helps at anything below say at least 300whp.
read the powerprimer on www.mrcontrols.com
for the turbo VSV you can totally remove it from the system.
if your running any kinda aftermarket boost controller, its already outta the loop anyway.
get a reducer, or use the "one coupler inside another" thing if you have to.
