I race my own Mr2 today just to see whats it made of and it wooped my celi. I felt disappointed hoping it will win. Well the mr2 only beat the celi by a car link. But still im mad now. It cant be that slow. Im so tempted to do a 3sgte swap now. I thnk it could b my bald tires on my celi. But ima do another run tomorrow and video it. hope i beat it.

I find it interesting that you criticize the way Manny answered your question when you continually bash people in your posts. Thats hypocritical.

Is this about the kid wanting to buy a stolen car? I usually only "bash" when it's really stupid conversation, and that conversation yesterday was by far the most extreme occasion where I have bashed.

That kid's question deserved to be bashed, it's common knowledge that what he was trying to do with his buddy is illegal. The question of the mr-2s 0-60 or quarter mile times, is not common knowledge because it's difficult to sometimes find accurate 0-60 times. I admitted that my info was inaccurate and asked for an accurate site for 0-60 times. I just feel some things are stupid questions, I answer questions like these sometimes in a mean way and if my question was stupid, I would have no problem with Manny giving me a reply typically reserved for n00bs.

Yea, that one. And, the one about Orville hitting the wall and suing his landlord. Also, the one about me posting an update that I was taking my car to get the front end done. There are a number of times where you are simply mean spirited. Don't get me wrong, I don't think we should have to sugar coat things or refrain from telling people about the search feature when a question is asked that is easily answerable by searching. Its best to just say: "Search on the word '_____' in the '_______' forum", rather than: "You are a freaking idiot for asking this question. Let me get this straight, you don't know what a 3sgte is????"

Now, I have said time and time again that people should not get their feelings hurt because something some a$$hole says to them over the internet, however, there would be less of that whining if people like you would just go a little easier when people ask something that YOU think is stupid. Manny (presure2) obviously thought your post was stupid but he didn't resort to namecalling or demeaning behavior. Perhaps his post may have brought home how stupid your question was and thats why it bothered you.

Also, I think its worse to be harsh to a noob than it is to a more senior member. The other day Dr. Tweak said something to me like "better do your research boy" when we were debating something. Was it offensive? You can decide that but it didn't bother me because (1) I have been around and know how people are on here and let the stuff role off my back; and (2) I knew he was wrong so it didn't matter biggrin.gif (j/k Tweak).

Anyway, thats my $.02. Take it for what its worth - admittedly, not much.

i know your trying to do the right thing for your motor, but this is one of those times where you should just trust the guys who have had their swaps for a while and have done a ton of research into this.
