For all of you that didn't know, (and I hope it's not many) Stephen Harper of the Conservative party just got elected to be Canada's new Prime Minister. I did some massive volunteer work this weekend for the Conservatives, so it's good to see the win. Just wondering what everyone else thinks of his win, hint hint to the Canadian forum members (all 4 of you) smile.gif

i think we r f*cked. I voted NDP, Im kinda relived that the liberals arent in power again though. I think we would have been worse off if Martin was back as the PM again. I kinda wanted the NDP to win though. Layton had a good agenda but only the younger voters where voting for him because the older ones are still pissed off with the NDP for the whole education and school crap they had to deal with about 10 or 12 years ago.
