does everyone have this stupid hump from the spare tire in their trunk? I notice in some members' cars its totally flat, does that mean they took out the spare... I'm tryin to put subs in the trunk and keep the spare so do i really have to work around this hump

What kind of carpet did u use .. and where did u get it ..

You want to make it pro right? tongue.gif ...well, go to homedepot, get some thin durable wood (masonite is what I used), staples, carpet padding, and a 4x4 piece of wood. Then trace your carpet onto the wood, cut it, then staple the carpet padding to the bottom of your platform (to provide sound deadening). Then cut the 4x4 blocks of wood to the height you want the platform to stand up (i made them high enough to make my platform level with the rear seats)...(the blocks will brace the platform--you cannot just use the wheel to brace it)...and this is going stupid, but I secured the 4x4 blocks to the trunk bottom using caulk...mainly b/c it is not as harsh as glue or liquid nails, and it has held perfectly. then put it all together and waaaala! biggrin.gif

p.s. any questions?...just ask away tongue.gif
