Need your help. I am considering purchasing Jspec3sge's (Ryan's) mint condition stock red engine hood from his 1994 ST (7AFE). From the pics, you can see it has no lining under the hood (just bare metal). Is this standard on STs? Both my GTs have thick lining under the hood. Doesn't this help keep the metal hood insulated/cooler after running the engine? I think it would be hard to "transplant" the lining from one hood to the other. Thanks.

It actually easier then you think to damage the paint.
