human error is and always will be a part of sports. the game was lost because seattle CANNOT manage a clock. it made me laugh hysterically when they basically blew 2 minutes worth of clock by running teh worst no huddle offense in superbowl history at the end of the first half. then i donno if it was the spirit of detroit compelling hasslebeck or what, but last time i checked you dont throw over the middle and 3 yard screens with no hope of getting out of bounds when you have no timeouts left with under 2 minutes in the 4th quarter. Reffing aside, they still could not stop the steelers from getting first downs and running clock on their final drive that iced it. All in all, seattle was delt a crappy hand, but they sure as hell didnt do anything to help themselves.
