I see sites selling Boost Valves and other sites selling JDM Fuel Pressure Regulators. Now aren't they the same thing? If not, how do they differ?

Ehmmm ka0s if you are talking about the Blow-off valve then the answer of maikl is correct but if you talking about turbo boost valve it is the valve that you can adjust the turbo boost.

QUOTE(Magic @ Feb 10, 2006 - 5:13 PM) Ehmmm ka0s if you are talking about the Blow-off valve then the answer of maikl is correct but if you talking about turbo boost valve it is the valve that you can adjust the turbo boost. No. I know what a blow off valve is. I know that fuel pressure regulator allows you to adjust the fuel pressure but the boost valve I'm talking about goes on non-turbo cars... http://www.europerformance.co.uk/pages/pro....mhtml?id=29368 it says says it increases the fuel pressure 1.7 times. So my question is... are they the same? with the only diff being that one is adjustable and one isn't? |
