Why does it seem like front mount intercoolers are more popular these days?

I personally like Air to Water Intercoolers more, just because you can always dump in dry ice into the water and have a great intercooler efficency.

Why don't more poeple use AWIC?

What other car manuactures make AWIC other then the gt4?
what's wrong with the cheap ebay ones?
Ebay awic

item #: 8036625491

can someone tell me a little more about AWIC systems?

well, theres lots of reasons why, but IMO alot of it has to do with setup, and just more parts to worry about.
now, dont take that as me saying W2A is bad, cause thats not what im saying at all, in fact, I personally LOVE the idea of a good W2A setup.
its just basicly the fact of a FMIC usually being easier and cheaper.

yea i agree, i doubt most people even consider a w/a ic because they arent as widely available. and i think there is a good dose of people who just like to have that huge intercooler everyone can see wink.gif.

I think Bigfoot is blurry, that's the problem. It's not the photographer's fault. Bigfoot is blurry. And that's extra scary to me, because there's a large, out-of-focus monster roaming the countryside.
