Who cares about horsepower? Strip the **** outta that baby! It's an ST, so if you can get it under 2200 pounds you'll have lots of fun.

I will worship anyone who can strip a 6th gen down to 2000lbs and still have it fuctional and look normal from the outside. If I had a spare celica laying around I would do it.

exactly, when you only have around 100hp, weight reduction can make a significant difference. 2000 lbs is pushing it but i think it could be done (audio system and all interior panels/carpet removed, all seats and seat belt assemblies removed with light driver seat, spare and tools removed, remove sound damper off of frame, light wheels/hood/fenders, cf hatch with lexan panel, AC removed, airbags removed with new steering wheel, and other little details) i dont even know if that would get down to 2000. wouldnt look pretty on the inside, but would be fun to drive biggrin.gif, well except for road noise, no music, hot as hell in the summer, probably too front heavy.

I think Bigfoot is blurry, that's the problem. It's not the photographer's fault. Bigfoot is blurry. And that's extra scary to me, because there's a large, out-of-focus monster roaming the countryside.

Yep, I definitely think it's possible. Then you'd effectively have the power to weight ratio of a lotus elise... and you'd have a toyota motor, too... ironic.
