My celica still has the original factory keyless entry. When you lock the door, the lights flashes once. when you unlock the door, the lights flashes twice. is there a way to set it up so it makes noises when you lock and unlock the door? on most toyota's i've noticed that it has a quick beep to lock and a double beep to unlock.

My one has the factory alarm.
I dont know if it's different from yours since
I'm in Australia.
Mine use to be silent when arming and disarming.
But then I read the manual and it showed me how
to make it beep everytime it armed and disarmed.
My alarm remote is a separate unit from the key.
It has two button
- Unlock/Disarm
- Lock/Arm/Panic
And inside the car it also has a button and an LED in the dash.

If it sound similar to mine,
I'll look up the manual and show you how to do it. smile.gif
