if i change my piston to after market piston and also the camshaft..how much boost of psi can the engine handle? im just carious cause i asked some GTS club up here and they say it might handle to 10-12 psi of boost. anyone might know?

well you don't NEED to upgrade your cams. it's a good idea, but i was saying that AM cams will not allow you to run more boost. they have nothing to do with it... it's all the pistons, rings, rods, and crank. if you run 15-20 psi on stock 5sfe rods you will throw them. i can guarantee this. spend the 800 and get custom forged ones. it will let you sleep at nite, and if you are going to crack open the block to build the inside, you might as well put in as much as you can. if you won't shell out for that, at least get them race prepped and shotpeened, and that will help strengthen them up.
