Painted my car over the weekend using cans, "flat black". Tell me what you guys think. All my friends think I'm psycho, one of my friends said it looks like a Batmobile now.
All body work done by myself, I had no experience in body work before so I think it was good experience for me. Check out the 96-99 clear turns. I'm probably going to wet sand the whole car this weekend there is some over saturation/ overspray in some areas. Pics taken with my camera phone, car is a little ashy from the fires Cali's been having 30-40 miles away...: You're looking at 96-99 clear turns custom molded on to a c-one style bumper. (Shaved antenna hole, metal mesh and bondo ) This post has been edited by Chanh55: Feb 16, 2006 - 6:56 PM |

QUOTE(Ralph96gt @ Feb 15, 2006 - 8:51 PM) that looks hella clean man. i love how you molded on your turn signals. what did you use to mold them on i need to do that to mine before i paint it. Wow a compliment from Ralph96gt! I actually got a lot of my inspiration from seeing your car and tufy's. Anyways... I used bondo to mold the turns. Some of the bondo seaped into the cracks, that's why I sprayed an outline on the lens to cover the bondo seapage and it turn out pretty nice. Tomorrow's the big day! I'm getting it back freshly painted. I'll post pics probably around 6 or 7 pst. |
