Well eventually I'd like to move outta the northeast. I have always been attracted to the west, Hawaii would be a dream but I've also thought about Arizona too.
So my question is, how hot does it get? If you live there/been there do/did you enjoy it? After I graduate I think I'll take a trip but this will satisfy my curiosity now. -------------------- |

If you like dirt, rocks, nongreen plant life, and not going out in the summer...then Arizona is the place for you.
I lived there for 12 years and the only thing positive I'll ever claim about AZ is its people. The people are really nice. You head down to Tempe on a Saturday night with the ASU crowd, say "Hi" to anyone on the street, and 90% of the time someone will hit ya with a friendly "Hi" right back. So thats always good...but I don't think it balances out the all the negatives I eventually got tired of. I like green trees, completely shaded roads from overhanging trees, 78deg constant weather, the beach, entertainment, and being able to surf one day and snowboard the next. So I've always known I was going to move back to So Cal. Actually I'm headed back to AZ this weekend. One of the few good things that AZs environment provides is a lot of good hiking and rock climbing. Gonna be rock climbing the Supersition west peak before it gets too hot. Doing this run in 110+deg weather is not an option. Not many other places you can find a run like that. Only takes ~4hrs.
