So i need some fuel management among other things and it seems that splurging for the
e-manage would be better than safc2. I guess i can tune the timing and fuel with the e-manage without any extra harnesses. Does anyone out there know what the e-m ultimate has out of the box that the original doesn't. If im cutting out the middle man and going for a piggy-back should i just continue the funds dump and get the ultimate or is that just overkill for a newbie trying his hand at tunning. I have a 5sfte to manage btw. |

So with the a/f target maping i could just set a ratio i want and the
unit will try to keep the engine running there?? Hey for a guy with no tunning experience that sounds good. Anyone have either of these and can give some insight on what each can actually do without harnesses. I can read the vauge greddy explination but i don't actually know what the unit is like. If you use the support tool do you think i could learn to tune this properly or should i just find a dyno? Wannabe, know any dyno's in the witchita area? |

Wannabe, know any dyno's in the witchita area? ehhh, concerning the taget mapping its not really that easy. what you going to do is adjust a/f at certain rpms for different load bank. youll end up with a spread sheet kinda thing. Throttle 100rpm 200rpm 300rpm 5% 16.5 16.2 10% 15.9 15% 14.5 you get the idea. also ive heard something about a password for the support tool to edit the maps, but im not entirely sure on this. something around that idea. -------------------- Former: 96 GT 5 speed (i/p/e) Fate- rear ended by mack truck
