what were your car experiences when taking on the project..
lets say 1 is you didnt even change your own oil, 5 is being able to change your timing belt and 10 is doctor tweak (<3) what would you rate yourself? how long did it take? what was the most frustrating part? (besides wiring, because my harness is already complete) PS. doc if you read this, i still wann have the swap done by you, because of your crudentials, i trust you, and i know everything would be done right.. but my friends have some good points and are really trying to make me do this myself! thanks all -brian |

QUOTE(brianforster @ Feb 24, 2006 - 6:35 AM) also: i thought you needed new couplers, those look like the ebay ad ones? if so whered you get your new/better couplers no the silicone couplers i got from the kit are great...its the clamps i had problem with...they SUCKED. the silicone couplers were nice and thick...very good quality for the clamps all i did was buy IDEAL (this is the name brand) clamps from home depot. these guys (IDEAL) are the same people who make some of the clamps u see in auto stores and theyre very good clamps. i'll eventually buy some real good t-bolt clamps but these IDEAL ones are just as good imo bboy -------------------- ..(formerly daily driven) 3S-GTE powered celica currently set @ 12psi.. |
