Ok just wanted ya'll thoughts on drag racing and track racing..wich one is better..which one takes more skill to do... ?

Mild that was a good point, but I disagree with your statement because of one thing. Formula 1 drivers, although yes they race different tracks, ALWAYS run on good quality tarmac (well at least if all is going to plan). The racing conditions are always very similar (especially if you take monaco out of the equation). Weigh this against a rally driver, who not only has different surfaces for each event, but also for each stage, and sometimes even multiple surfaces within the one stage. I mean they travel through the sand of africa, the mud of south america, the mountains and snow of europe, and other nasty elements!!
Add to this a turbo charger (harder to keep engine from failing than NA), and a loudmouth co-driver, and you have a very difficult job for the driver. I honestly think that if you got an f1 driver to trade places with a rally driver, the f1 guy would take a lot longer to pick up the skills... |
