sooo i bought Black for xbox on tuesday, and ima have to say its pretty sweet. probly one of the best first person shooters ive ever played. graphics are pretty good, but not as good as like far cry instincts, but better than most games. but im realling diggin the physics engine and sound engine. they are superb! the weapons sound realistic, even have an echo effect after each shot. and the explosions are very very cool. most realistic explosions ive seen in a video game yet. i totally recomend this game.

also, the levels are kinda long, n' sumwhat hard. havnt beaten the game yet. and every level is action packed with lots of shooting and explosions.

there are lots of weapons, ak47-p90-sniper rifle-uzi-glock-dc 3 pistol-rpg-g36c-grenades- and much more. you can only carry 2 weapons at a time plus grenades. but anytime during the game you can swap other weapons from dead enemies. most of the guns, like the rifles and machine guns, hold more than the norma amount of ammo. like the ak47 hold 60 rounds instead of 30 like the real rifle. and the uzi holds 90 rounds, but thats alright i guess, just makes for a more enjoyable game . lotsa bullet holes.

a few things i dont like are the grenades. you cant throw them very far unless you aim up and arc yer throw. so in a close heavy fire fight yer gonna be throwing grenades pretty close since you dont wanna risk being in the open and arcing yer throw, er else you'll be hit. and there is NO blood in the game. but yet the game is rated M for mature, and there is no blood?! first M game ive ever seen with no blood in it. When you shoot the bad guys, there is like a black splat. and it takes more than a few rounds to kill a bad guy. i guess they're wearing body armor? haha

anyways, this game is very very action packed. there are very few times where you are acutally sneaking. but you dont have to sneak, you can just plow thru with all guns blazing. its more fun that way

i dont really know whats going on in the game. like the whole backstory of why im fighting all these enemies. but the game is told thru a pass-tense story. the main character is being questioned by another man about what happend during all these missions, and you play thru each one to find out. the cut scenes are live action by the way...

the music is great! makes it seem like a sweet movie. but on the xbox version you can put yer own custom soundtrack in with songs you've uploaded from cd's onto yer xbox.

im surprised they didnt hold back the release of the game and make it for the xbox 360 or ps3, cuz this woulda been one hell of a shooter for those systems with the advanced graphics and all. but im glad they released it for the xbox and ps2. i have both a ps2 and xbox and im glad i bought this for xbox, but you guys out there with both or atleast 1 of them should pick this game up, or atleast rent it.

too bad for you guys with only an xbox 360. i heard this game isnt playable on it, even with the backwards compatabilty, only a certain amount of games are able to play on the xbox 360. sumwhere around 200, and this game isnt one of those. but in a year er so when microsoft cleans up the bugs and makes it so any xbox game is playable on the 360, you should totally get this. or wait to see if they come out with a 360 version. that would be sweet

Ya fear rules, I hear black doesnt have multi-player.. is that true?
