Are there any underdrive pulleys available? I have heard that you can put an ASP underdrive pulley for a Corolla with a 7aFe engine on a ST Celica for 8hp gain. Will it fit on a celica? Are these hard to install if anyone has one of these?

Yes, look in your manual (if you don't have one buy the Chiltons, don't buy anything else it's a waste of money), and look where to loosen the power steering. There's a bolt on the right side of the car, and one you have to losen through the hood. You see, it's on a pivot so you can slide it down, and get the belt off easy. Although, losening the bolts is horrible. It takes a good lube, and lots of patience. I had the same problem you did, this is the only way to do it.

Don't bother loaning a pulley puller from Autozone again, the accessories pulley will come off rather easy.
