er.. ok sorry if this is kinda confusing/stupid what i'm trying to ask, but i've never bought wheels/tires online or separately before... usually i get everything installed at once at local places...
i was looking at a site and they said that if you buy tires + wheels together you get: -the mount and computer wheel balance of the tires -an installation kit which includes wheel nuts (or bolts), valve stems (installed with tires), and hub centering rings (when necessary and available). they say if u just buy wheels or tires, u could pay extra for their installation kit... they said the installation kit can be saving of up to $200... are those 3 items really worth up to $200?? ok, so i'm assuming the wheel nuts they include i could just get them at toyota... i need like.. 20 of them right? valve stem... er... is it that thing that sticks out that u pump air into? so are they saying i have to put that into the tire? and do i actually need the hub centering thing? i have no clue what it is... is it the same as the center cap that some wheels come with? The Hub centering ring is a thick plastic ring that locks into the rims, in the exact center. It fits the aftermarket rim on the hub perfect, exactly as stock rims would. The benefits are greater stability, especially at higher speed, and better tire wear.
