Change the Axle and still Problem, irritating noise still Options

i change my axle last week thursday and since the tires were off i also checkk the brake hoses and caliper and brake pads, and when i put everything back and i drove it for a little while, that claking sound is still there(the claking sound you hear letting you know it might be time to change your axle) well i'm like WTF and then on top of that it sounds like the brake pad is rubbing against the rotor (the Screeching sound like your running your finger nails down a chalkboard). i think i already know whats wrong with i think when i remove the pads out of the caliper the little spring thingy that holds the pads apart i compress them to much so that it wouldn't push the pad away from the rotor. anyways i'm going to check to see if its that as well as the spindle or something, maybe i might need to re pack the spindle bearing with grease or something? any suggestions when i do this tomorrow? maybe checking something else since i'm down there?

every sound is coming from the front driver side, that is where i change the axle, and i check for wheel play and its solid, as for the spindle when i tighten the axle with the bolt to it, i did it just enough so that there will be no play. imma check everything that i touch when i swap out the axle and see if i did do something that didnt need to be done! thanks for the suggestions on the other hand the only brakes that i need to replace is the brake shoe for the hand brake i know this because of how high the hand brake is in the interior. its either, replace the shoes or just adjust the hand brake cable which ever one is neccesary thanks though.
