Hey all,
I've tried a search for this and it doesn't appear to have been a topic about it. Has anyone tried to have a 19x8 rim on their celica? I have a 98' SSIII. What tyre profiles have you fitted with your rims? Any problems? I'm thinking about getting a set of 19x8. Any replies would be greatly appreciated. thanks |

In a magazine i've seen a guy with our celica with 20' rims all around. And was drivable. But he had the same set of rims at 22's that he used for shows only (couldn't turn)

QUOTE(celiracer @ Mar 9, 2006 - 5:42 AM) In a magazine i've seen a guy with our celica with 20' rims all around. And was drivable. But he had the same set of rims at 22's that he used for shows only (couldn't turn) 20" fitment, you do need to carefully choose the offset and tyre profile will be as 225/30 or 215/35 which too low and hardly drive. especially in the front where the tyre will be rub the inner side of underfender area.. For safe, maximum you can go would be 19"....I have been using it over a year and no problem with it.. |
