blue smoke from exhaust, any ideas |

every morning when i start my car i have blue smoke come out of the exhaust of my car. after about 5 seconds its gone. any ideas what causes that? if so let me know

you dont need to "fix" it, but if you want , try some of the autozone oil additive called stopleak, it will tell you on the back how it conditions valves, etc.
other than that, you have to open up the head to fix it, so its just not worth it, its not detrimental to your engine, its jsut burning off a tad of oil when you start. |
