Got everything in the mail finally, painted it and started installing. There is a gap between the hood and front bumper. About an inch. Has anyone else had this problem, or is my core support pushed down that much???? Secondly, I knew the hood latch is different,, but I didn't know it was this bad. If I move the bumper up to where it's supposed to be,,,,I won't be able to get my fingers under the hood to open the latch. Other than that,,,stock sides fit great, rear lips fit great on one side,,the other has a gap and needs some more work. I went with the same erebuni 404a lip as boss33(from boosted6g) and it needs some work to fit onto the jdm bumper. Great quality from boosted6g!! smile.gif Currently working on that. Lots of work to be done before I show it in Chicago in two weeks. I'll try to get some pics up when everything is together. Waiting for a few parts,,,most importantly an axle from Josh Boam,,,still. Let me know if anyone has an st185 axle lying around.

I used the stock gt4 latch. The stock st cable was long enough and gave me no problems. I replaced the stock bumper support with the gt4. I basically drilled the welds and removed it off the gt4 clip and put it on mine with no problems. If by chance you lose or have lost the metal retainer for the front bumper...like I did. I have taken a piece of aluminum and covered the bumper to the radiator and used my stock st rubber seal. Not great but better than not having one.

or you can just buy a new one from your local toyota dealer for a few bucks..lol

Tried three of them, no luck. It would have been easier if I could find one, as it is still not right...I will have to check in LA.
