I mentioned this in my other thread, but i wanted to start a new one for this particular issue.

yesterday, i installed the new fuel pump and got a new battery because my other one kept dying on its own (even when unplugged). it worked great all day. now this morning i went to start it up, and it didnt quite have enough power to start the car. i had to jump it.

what could be causing this? the alternator is brand new and seems to be charging the battery, but when the car is off...the battery dies.

You'll need to put a voltmeter or test light in-between the battery terminal and connector. If it lights up then you have a power draw. Start pulling fuses one by one, when the light goes out, then you've found the draw. Then check the wiring diagrams and trace the system out until you've found what's taking power with the car off.
